it's ridiculous....to me it sounds like exhaustion....my daughter gets this way....a week before her dance recital she's playing manhunt, wipes out on the sidewalk and rips up both legs, one worse than the other...sounds like small potatos compared to this other fandangle, but to my daughter it's a big deal....hysterical tears....when I saw the first post about Kristen's wipe out I've been waiting for the big meltdown....as far as this extra and her blog, that's just disrespectful to Kristen and Joan...but these kids don't realize that, they think they can write anything about anyone...what I don't understand is why people are so happy to report things that go wrong....rather than what goes right...from what I can see Joan is a very intense person and this is her story...I'm sure she's very passionate about Kristen getting it right.....if I had to guess what's at the root of it all? they're tired...

PC spot on...JB, it was also reported in the NY Daily News....I just find it odd that an actress that got $1.5 mill for Twil.2 and is a veteran of movie sets
would break down in tears over a movie...For that much $$ you could whip me, beat me, make me tell bad jokes and I'd do it standing at attention, saluting,
with a smile on my face and a wink in my eye.
PS: Kristen better hope she never works with Christian Bale

A story is one thing, an extra taking nosey pictures on the set is a totally different thing. If they don't have contracted hush hush agreements they can't stop someone from blogging. Doesn't mean they SHOULD, just that they can. Pesky amendment and all... Anyway, I heard she apologized....so I think that makes it OVER. Kristen will either toughen up or lose her mind :P |

her blog said she posted pictures, then when it all blew up so fast, she took them down. here's the interesting thing...you can blog all day long about yourself, your opinions etc, but when you blog about some one else, it's a whole different picture..it's too bad this person didn't use better judgement...but as you say it's blown over. |

hoping for a "Runaways" section in Kohls....platform boots and red jumpsuits.....now that would be cool.

If the director is a pro with a contract in hand, I could understand there being an issue, especially if Joan isn't being a pro about her duties. Example: If a scene is shot, KS does a crappy job, and the director shouts "Cut!", does Joan immediately shout "Kristen, WTF was that?!" Any discourse between EP & director would happen behind the scenes...whether the EP doesn't like the job the director or actor is doing. I'm really doubting the whole crying story. Behind the scenes...maybe/probably. On the set? No way. Joan's way to intelligent after all these years. |

One other thing...
In the modern pop-culture media-driven circus we call a world... Kristen Stewart > Joan Jett Landing Kristen for this role was a major coup. Absolutely brilliant. Dakota as well. Put no-names in those roles and you're movie becomes very small. Kristen isn't being abused in any way. |

If you think about it,Joans alledged giving-a-hard-time-to Kristen might help K get a better "feel"for her character.After all,look at all the insults,putdowns,and other abuse Joan had to endure both in the Runaways and in her solo career! But i tend to agree that Joan would not put Kristen on the spot that way unless she felt K could have done a scene better-theyre both probably tired and sometimes a little "tough love"helps motivate a person,ya know?Even if this incident really took place the way the blogger put it Kristen Stewart is a big girl now as well as a professional actress so im sure she can deal with it! |
