Is Joan bank-rolling the project? Does she, or Blackheart, take on 100% of the financial risk? Investors.
Yup, it's a Joan-Kenny-Cherie project. But there is no project without Kristen & Dakota. My 20-year old daughter will go see the movie because of KS & DF. She doesn't know or care about JJ or the Runaways. Dinosaurs to her. But my daughter will go see the movie. And many, many more her age group. Genius. JJ needs KS so the movie will appeal to a much broader demographic. $$$$$$ KS needs the movie to escape the "Bella" label and to show she can take on a juicy dramatic role. Scratch my back...I'll scratch your back.

Almost everybody agrees with Kristen and Dakota being cast for the film. Is it a brilliant choice? I don't think so. Is it a solid business move? Sure it
is. Brilliant would be putting in a couple of unknowns to play Joan and Cherie and then raking in 100 million bucks. Kristen is going to be holding an Oscar
someday, whether she does The Runaways film or not, she will easily break out of the Twilight thing.

It's Joan and Cherie's project. No kidding lol. And the movie business IS really nasty. But once in a while films about really cool and important things get made, so I'm all for it : ) I was hoping for unknowns to be cast for the leads, but I actually don't have a problem with Kristen's acting like a lot of people *not on here, just in general.* As far as Dakota, I've liked everything I've seen her in. As long as they can pull of the music and embody that "I don't give a f*ck what you think" attitude....I think it'll work out just fine.

but in one of those hollywood gossip rags there was a blurb about Kristen Stewart pictured in her JJ getup on the Runaways set which described Kristen's angst regarding the break up of a long time boyfriend as well as all this other crap from a current heart throb who is whining because she is so wrapped up in her current JJ role she is allegedly blowing him off.....it was a pretty good blurb..said that Kristen is taking this JJ thing very seriously...so seriously she's igoring everything and everyone else....so I doubt it was Joan that made her cry....sounds more like the straw that broke the camels back.....so to speak. |

we've been taken over here by yuppie beach revelers who crowd my grocery store..I needed to jump into something! look for the mag that has a pic of Michael Jackson on a stretcher ...yes, this is the cover pic...that's what got my attention, I thought oh for christ sake someone got a picture of the guy just recently dead...but I think it was a pic from when his hair caught fire...he's wearing a neck brace in the photo...you can read the little KStew blurb for your self... |

I never trust the rags. Every so often I peek at the covers in the market and have to make sure to not laugh out loud...
But I've heard that there's some weird Hollywood heart throb triangle thing going on with her...yikes. |

Joan and Cherie and Lita and Sandy (Estate) and Kenny, get the money either way...........maybe the young kids want to hear Dakota and Kristen and are
connected to them enough no matter how they sound. And maybe...........a reissue of The Runaways stuff alone wouldn't sell as well...........or maybe
releasing a soundtrack with Dakota and Kristen AND releasing The Runaways stuff at the same time would make MILLIONS.
I would never speak for Joan, I don't know her. However, I trust her enough to do what's best for this project. I just want Kenny to keep "hand claps" out of the final mixes. |
